BIOREVITALISATION

*hyaluronic acid and vitamins booster for skin health – therefore it looks glowing.

** One of the most popular procedures for skin health.
*** Can be done all year through (most of our celebrity/high standards patients do it every 2 months). Minimum usually is a course of 3 during winter (less UV – better results), 1 months apart. Effect is few days after 1st.

What is biorevitasation or skin booster?

Biorevitalisation is type of mesotherapy, when natural healing ingredients are injected into the most metabolically active layer of the skin. This is one of the most popular procedures in doctors offices in Russia and South Korea (countries with the most advanced cosmetic industries).

If you would like to understand the concept in depth – the video below is a comprehensive presentation of 1 of our cosmetic doctors, Dr Larissa Miller at the national cosmetic conference COSMETEX in Sydney ( Ref: http://previousevents.cosmetex.org/program/ )

Dr Miller was one of pioneers in Australia who started biorevitalisation concept and brought the techniques from overseas, providing multiple trainings for doctors and nurses and presenting at few national congresses, including ACAM, Cosmetix, A5M, anti-aging and others.

SKIN BOOSTER INJECTIONS HYALURONIC ACID

What I will notice after the injections?

Radiant – that’s what most commonly patient notice. Also, it is described as glowing from inside, firmer, smother texture, lighter, more hydrated, healthier look, decreased roughness, fine lines and imperfectoins. At research, 96% of patients would like to repeat the biorevitalisation (skin booster) treatment, 86% of patients believed their skin looked younger (Ref: Gubanova E et al. J Drugs Dermatol 2015, IMCAS). Just glowing skin quality can create less tired or dull look, like you have been on a holidays.

What is hyaluronic acid based skin booster?

Hyaluronic acid is a non chemically modified from of hyaluronan, a naturally occurring substance found in human skin and throughout the body.  For over twenty years viscoelastic materials derived from natural hyaluronan have been invaluable in eye surgery and orthopaedic procedures.  Since non modified hyaluronic acid s is based on natural hyaluronan, your body biologically accepts it as its own.  All it takes is a few simple injections under the surface of the skin, to help fill in and smooth away facial lines and wrinkles, acne scars, or other skin contour deficiencies and you’ll see the improvements immediately.

What causes facial lines and wrinkles?

Everybody gets facial lines and wrinkles at some point in their lives.  They are caused by the breakdown of the natural collagen and hyaluronan support layer that lies just beneath your skin which is the result of external factors, such as sun damage, environment exposure and internal conditions including the body’s natural aging process.

How does hyaluronic acid based skin booster work?

Hyaluronic acid is a gel made from the natural substance, hyaluronan that is injected just beneath the skin surface to replace the collagen and hyaluronan support layer, which has deteriorated.  It instantly supports your skin, smoothing wrinkles, most types of scars, corrects skin contour deficiencies and improved facial lines typically found between the eyes, and around the mouth area.  It is such a simple treatment that it can be completed, in your practitioner’s office allowing you to get on with your life straightaway.

Why are there different hyaluronic acid options?

There are specific Hyaluronic acid products because different wrinkles and facial areas have very different characteristics.  More gentle and soft version is used to support the delicate lines that have formed in your skin.  Another one, our standard product, will smooth out wrinkles including nasolabial folds, glabellar and more pronounced lines around the mouth.  Hyaluronic acid Plus is used on deeper folds, for lip enhancement and for contouring.

Is it painful?

Minimal discomfort, you may feel an initial sting but only for a moment.  Hyaluronic acid is injected using extremely find needles.  When creating sensuous lips, your practitioner may choose to use a dental block, which ensures a more comfortable procedure when injecting into the vermilion border.

Is it expensive?

For the same cost as a day at the health farm, a few round of golf or a night at a favourite hotel you will look and feel so much better.  Treatment prices are based on the number of areas treated and the amount of Hyaluronic acid required.  Your practitioner will help you develop a program that suits your needs.

What skin problems is biorevitalisation ideal for?

  • Photodamage
  • especially great for wrinkles around eyes
  • hyperpigmentation (best in combination with Dr Miller whitening cream)
  • dry ( dehydrated ) skin
  • small acne scars
  • Dark circles under eyes

Will my skin look healthy and beautiful?

Bio revitalisation delivers natural moisturiser, which we loose as we damage skin or age, called Hyaluronic Acid.

Immediate effect: Patients notice skin glowing from inside.

Most patients tolerate procedure well (occasional bruising possible), however, it’s not uncommon to have swelling with the procedure – it’s skin metabolism is being activated.

When is the best season?

Any. But biorevitalisation is ideal for ultraviolet sun damage, therefore before summer (to prepare skin for future “excersise”) and after summer (to recover after accumulated sun damage stress, oxidation processes and wash out pigments)

What is the cost?

Bio-revitalisation cost varies depending on amount of medication required and additives medications used.

What are contraindications?

  • Pregnancy
  • Breastfeeding
  • Allergy
  • Acute infection

How often would I require treatment?

Your skin is different.  Everyone’s is.  That is why the timing of any additional treatment varies from person to person.  Because Hyaluronic acid is made from a natural, biological material it will eventually break down and be absorbed by your body and that is why you will need ongoing treatments to maintain the look you want.  If you choose not to continue with your treatment any remaining Hyaluronic acid is simply absorbed by your body over time and your skin gradually returns to its natural contours.

What can I expect from my hyaluronic acid skin booster treatment?

In just one Hyaluronic acid treatment you will see a rear difference, with a softening of facial lines, wrinkles and scars and the improvement of lines around the mouth area.  There may be some local treatment responses and these are perfectly normal.  The can include temporary discomfort, discolouration or mild to moderate redness and swelling.  Typically these responses are temporary and if they do occur, will usually go away within a couple of days.  Note:  ask your practitioner for more information on local treatment responses and the precautions in the use of skin booster.  We have found that may people have skin booster treatment and return to work or their usual activities that same day. Day.  Since Hylagenesis is not a permanent treatment, you will need to come back once or twice a year to maintain and enjoy the younger, fresher, smoother look skin booster can give you.

How mesotherapy and biorevitalisation work?

Our skin has beautiful ability to heal itself, if good conditions are created.

As we age or damage (by sun, inflammation etc) our skin, we loose natural moisturizer called hyaluronic acid. Besides using it in serums and masks on skin surface, cosmetic doctor can inject similar ingredient inside the skin, often in combination with other healing prescription grade medications.

Unlike most of damaging methods (like laser burning, peeling acid burn etc), biorevitalisation provides best conditions for skin to repair itself by local delivering hyaluronic acid, peptides and vitamins into most metabolically active skin layer.

Such natural, not damaging stimulation of collagen and elastin structure of the skin. Younger architecture of our skin is restored.

The procedure helps to repair water balance, increase elasticity and firmness of the skin, improve color and appearance. This option allows to reduce wrinkles, provide more tonus to the skin and smoothen the skin. After the course (3 procedures 3 weeks apart): color is more even, face skin lifts up and small wrinkles disappeared, especially in difficult areas like around eyes, mouth, under eyes, around lips.

What product is used for biorevitalisation?

Hyaluronic Acid is a natural moisturiser in all our body cells. It is used a lot in cosmetic creams, serums, but also similar substance is used as prescription only medication for injections into joints, eyes and also skin in cosmetic medicine.

Experienced in the procedure doctor will also assess your individual skin and depending on the problem with skin, will prescribe most appropriate biorevitalisation product, often mixed with an additional medications (i.e., vitamins, micro elements, peptides etc). Such individual approach to patient allows to achieve best results.

What is the difference between biorevitalisation and filler or mesotherapy?

Filler is replacing or creating needed volumes in right places.

Mesotherapy is delivering active medicine into targeted problematic area (not taking orally to distribute all over whole body). Examples are anti-inflammatory injections into resistant acne or cysts. Or fat dissolving injections under chin.

Biorevitalisation is delivering much faster and effective results. Also, it plays long term anti-aging role by delivering “bricks” and nutrients into metabolically active layer of skin for own skin repair. Our body have beautiful feature – when we stop harming it and create good conditions for repair – our body heals itself.

How many procedures of biorevitalisation I need?

Biorevitalisation is multiple micro injections sub and intracutaneously (under and inside skin) under local or topical anaesthetic.

In clinical research there are recommendations of 3 proceddures 2-4 weeks apart. Maximum effect after 3rd procedure.

But course is prescribed individually by doctor, depending on your skin.
